Hi there! I'm Amy, the owner and founder of Cake Me Happy. I'm so excited to have a website for my cake business after growing it for years mostly through word-of-mouth and referrals.
I come from a long line of bakers - my grandmother and mother instilled in me a deep love for the craft from a young age. But it was about 4 years ago, during the COVID-19 pandemic, that I really became passionate about learning professional cake decorating techniques. Inspired by baking competition shows, I taught myself how to create intricate, beautiful wedding cakes and other custom creations. In addition to my baking skills, I also have a background as a professional musician. I've always been drawn to the worlds of art, beauty, and creativity, and I love being able to bring joy to people through my cake designs.
These days, my husband Marc and I are kept very busy with our four boys - Oliver (15), Leeland (15), Bridge (13), and Duke (6). But running Cake Me Happy is a true labor of love, and I'm so grateful for the growth my business has experienced. I can't wait for you to see what else is in store!
